Full Circle: Conception to Birth

It was an honor to be present at Rowan's birth. His mother conceived the very night after receiving a fertility massage. Mom is 39 years old. It's a joy in our profession to be part of this circle of life.

Here, I am performing Gall Bladder 21 shiatsu point to support the baby descending into the birth canal.

Here, Leah, another massage therapist and friend in the area, is creating a balancing flow with polarity.

In this photo, I am applying pressure to the ischial tuberosities as the mother presses into my hands.

Scalp massage in labor is very beneficial in getting the mother out of her head and ready for the focus of birth.

New Journeys

As we begin a new year and a new journey, I share with you the Seven Generations plaque at the Frederick Franck Sculpture at Boulder Hot Springs in Montana. With this blog, I'm embarking on a new journey of reaching out and connecting with all of you. It is the Seven Generations sculpture that calls to me and inspires the work of Nurturing the Mother, Fertility Massage, and Integrative Reflexology as we carry good health forward.
